Day 1:  The start of our journey.  Apparently from the writing on the side, a Japanese bus?  Or is that Arabic?  Either way, it was a pretty decent bus.  Roomy at first.  Just the 5 of us and 5 or so porters and guides.  But that would change soon enough.
