After our
successful first kayak in Lake Ogawara the previous
weekend, we decided to try our luck in a river.
What we found instead of a river is this
creek/irrigation canal feeding into the lake.
We did learn a few things from our first paddle the week
before.
#1. Even though it may look like winter is gone,
the water is still ice cold - so wear wetsuits.
#2. We really needed seats for the kayaks - we
actually ordered them, but they hadn't come in yet, so
we sat on foam numbers. |
