Ken, Jenn, & I decided to head up to ski Hakkoda mountain.
Hakkoda is unique in that there are no real lifts or runs or resort.  There is one 100-person gondola that goes from a small base station to the top every 20 minutes.  Once at the top, you just make your own way down the mountain.   Also, it is home to some crazy weather, and the infamous snow monsters.  Needless to say, we were excited to finally ski there.
